The Holiday Carolina Blood Drive is rescheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 in Fetzer Hall. Students, faculty, staff and the Carolina community are invited to celebrate 20 years of saving lives by bleeding Carolina blue and donating blood with the Employee Forum and American Red Cross. All presenting donors will receive snacks and a free, commemorative 20th anniversary T-shirt.
Previous appointments for the Holiday Carolina Blood Drive were cancelled, so schedule your appointment today! Visit RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or use the Blood Donor App and enter sponsor code UNC. Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the drive, but appointments are encouraged. For UNC-Chapel Hill employees, time spent donating and volunteering is considered work time with permission from a supervisor.

The Employee Forum and Carolina Center for Public Service are hosting a relief trip to Goldsboro, NC to help those impacted by Hurricane Florence on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 8:00AM – 5:00 PM! Volunteers will be working at the MERCI Center in Goldsboro to assemble relief supply buckets. MERCI is the Disaster Response and Mission Support Center warehouse where the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) assembles and disseminates hygiene, cleaning and other relief supply kits to disaster-stricken areas. Please remember that all UNC Staff have Community Service Leave (CSL) available to them for events such as this (with prior supervisor approval)!
