The Employee Forum Book club was revamped and run by Brooke O’Neal. Starting in January the book club meets every other month at noon on the 4th Thursday. Through Brooke’s leadership, the Book Club now has a Microsoft Teams page with over 60 members, as well as guaranteed free resources from the campus library for the selected books.
Aided by the volunteer efforts of Paul Cardillo, from ITS Digital Services, the Employee Forum has begun updating its official website. Through the Spring and Summer of 2022 Paul has updated the platform, style and organization of the website. The new site should go live September 2022.
During the Fall ‘22/Spring ‘23 year the Public Relations and Communications Committee will:
- Continue publication of the InTouch newsletter
- Launch the new website
- Resume coordinating the Scavenger Hunt held during Employee Appreciation Day (suspended previously during the Pandemic)
- Aim to record and release two more episodes of the podcast InTouch with the Employee Forum
