Supporting the University’s Task Force on Part-Time Adult Degree
RESOLUTION OF THE EMPLOYEE FORUM
THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL
April 2, 2003
WHEREAS, the Mission of the Employee Forum is to address constructively the concerns of the Employees of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and
WHEREAS these concerns certainly include appropriate employee benefits as a portion of the overall compensation available to each employee; and
WHEREAS employee benefits can serve as a means to meet and enhance increasing professional requirements and to achieve personal goals; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Employee Forum support the development and ultimate implementation of a part-time adult undergraduate degree program that would be available to all employees and that the part-time adult undergraduate degree program be a part of and work in concert with the currently existing employee benefit package.
