The UNC-Chapel Hill Employee Forum invites you to a virtual Town Hall on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. We are committed to fostering an equitable, safe, and healthy workplace for all. UNC-CH employees will have the opportunity to discuss the University’s Return to Campus plans prior to and during the event.
We want to gather your thoughts or concerns to create a report based on the feedback received from fellow employees. Your voice is essential and critical to this process. This report will be shared with the University’s administration, similar to the Effects of COVID-19 on the Employees of UNC-Chapel Hill and Recommendation for Senior Leaders report.
The Town Hall and subsequent report will be structured around these four questions:
- What are your thoughts or concerns about the University’s Return to Campus plans for July and the Fall Semester?
- What are some lessons learned from working through the pandemic?
- How would you like to see the lessons learned applied to the future?
- In what ways can we celebrate a healthy return to campus and rebuild our in-person community?
Dawn Osborne-Adams, University Ombuds, will facilitate the live discussion on Tuesday, June 22nd.

To ensure we cover your concerns, please submit your anonymous feedback to the four questions listed above via this Qualtrics survey. If you are willing to share your thoughts or concerns during the live event, please indicate that in your responses in the Qualtrics survey.
The Town Hall will be recorded and open to the public to ensure we accurately convey everyone’s input while complying with NC’s Open Meeting Law. We will attempt to include as many individual voices as we can during the live event given time restrictions.
