“Postcards from the Pandemic” Pop-Up Session
Kathryn Wagner
Associate Director
Arts Everywhere
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- In this 15 min session, an Arts Everywhere staff member lead the group in a short reflection activity to help inspire postcard creation. There were no guidelines or requirements as to what can be on each postcard. Doodles, collages, self-reflections, and messages to a loved one, a friend, or a stranger were all encouraged.
- To sign up for a take-home kit and to learn more about the “Postcards from the Pandemic” project, which continues through the end of March, visit https://go.unc.edu/postcards. Staff members who would like to acquire materials can sign up for a take-home kit which can be picked up at the Ackland Art Museum, Morrison Art Studio, Wilson Library or the Arts Everywhere office.
- For those who prefer to create a virtual postcard, check out the online postcard-making resources here.
