If you haven’t already gotten around to it, tax season is well upon us. Because April 15th falls on a Sunday this year and the following day is a federal holiday (Emancipation Day), you have until Tuesday, April 17th to complete your filing, but don’t let it creep up on you! Beyond the traditional tax preparers and filing paper forms yourself, consider using one of these low-price or FREE services to help you through the process:
If you prefer in-person assistance:
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance):

-Household income < $50,000: FREE Federal and state filing
-Household income > $50,000: $75-NOTE: SECU also offers a 15% discount on TurboTax at the bottom of the above linked page
